Content Revision & Publishing Assistant
Role Summary
The Content Revision & Publishing Assistant provides a trusted second set of eyes on Formed Through Fire Ministry materials before public release. This role exists to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in written and visual content—catching missed grammar issues, formatting inconsistencies, and small errors—while honoring the ministry’s Spirit-led voice and doctrinal integrity
Primary Responsibilities
Formatting & Style Consistency
Ensure formatting consistency across materials, including:
Headings and subheadings
Fonts, spacing, and layout
Scripture formatting and references
Lightly review for errors/inconsistencies and offer feedback
Maintain and reference a style guide, such as:
Preferred Bible translation
Consistent title casing
Scripture citation format
Standard terminology for ministry programs and branches
Assist with putting certain materials into publishing format guidelines:
Maintaining versions of materials for use across platforms or publishing and adjusting format to suit
Ensure any material to be published has appropriate copyright information for use of various bible translation, and each piece has all needed components to publish
Ideal Fit
Highly detail-oriented with strong grammar and editing skills
Enjoys polishing content and catching small errors
Communicates feedback kindly and respectfully
Comfortable reviewing:
Long-form studies and devotionals
Articles and emails
Graphics, slides, and social captions
Respects spiritual leadership and collaborative process
Is able to get things completed within a limited timeframe for certain projects\
Working Relationship
Receives materials from ministry leaders and works closely to ensure cohesiveness
Returns edits and notes for review and approval
