Day Five — Caring for the Vessel

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.”

— Ephesians 2:10 (CSB)

Your body is the vessel through which God’s purposes are lived out. Every act of obedience, service, and love requires physical presence.

When the body is consistently depleted, spiritual life often feels heavier. Discernment becomes harder. Patience wears thin. Joy feels distant. Caring for the body supports the capacity to live faithfully.

This is not about achieving ideal health or constant energy. It is about availability — being present and able to respond when God calls.

Stewardship strengthens our ability to walk with God over the long haul.

Reflection

  • How does my physical well-being affect my spiritual life?

  • What small act of care could support my faithfulness?

Prayer

Lord, help me care for the vessel You use to carry Your work. Amen.
