Intercessor & Prayer Coordinator
Purpose
To cover the ministry, its leaders, and its members in consistent prayer and intercession, while creating opportunities for the community to experience prayer and celebrate God’s answers together.
Key Responsibilities
Prayer Requests & Intercession
Maintain an up-to-date log of group prayer requests.
Pray faithfully over requests, the ministry, its leaders, and its members.
Offer private prayer support to group members when needed.
Leadership Prayer Support
Join or lead weekly prayer meetings with the leadership team.
Provide Scripture or prophetic encouragement when prompted by the Holy Spirit.
Community Engagement in Prayer
Post daily or weekly Scripture-based prayers in the FB group (short, simple, and Spirit-led).
Track and share praise reports when prayers are answered (with permission).
Encourage group members to pray for one another by posting “community prayer threads” (ex: “Drop your requests below, let’s pray for each other this week”).
Spiritual Covering
Pray specifically for ministry events, studies, and launches—before, during, and after.
Cover new volunteers as they step into their roles.
Ideal Fit
Spiritually mature believer with a calling to intercession.
Comfortable praying aloud in small groups and writing short prayers for online posting.
Discerning, confidential, and sensitive when handling private requests.
