Held in His Hands

“The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, And underneath are the everlasting arms…” Deuteronomy 33:27

From the moment you took your first breath, God’s hands have been steady beneath you. He is your safe place, your eternal refuge. When the world feels uncertain, His arms remain strong and unshakable. Unlike human love, which can fail or change, His love is constant.

Think of the seasons of your life—childhood, adolescence, womanhood—every step has been guided by His unseen hand. You have never been outside His care. Even when you felt abandoned or overlooked, He was holding you. To fall in love with God is to rest in His faithfulness, knowing His hands are both gentle and mighty.

Reflection: Where do you see God’s hand guiding you in your past? Where do you need His steady arms to hold you now?

Prayer: Lord, thank You that I am safe in Your everlasting arms. Teach me to rest in Your love, to trust Your care, and to lean into the security only You provide.
