Living In Freedom

Freedom is more than deliverance — it’s learning to walk unhindered. Jesus didn’t just break your chains; He invited you to live unbound by sin, fear, or shame. Freedom is your birthright as a child of God.

1. You are free through Christ

Galatians 5:1 (NLT) — “So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don’t get tied up again in slavery to the law.”

Summary: Freedom must be protected. Christ released you from bondage so you could live fully alive in Him.

Declaration: I am free in Christ and will not return to the chains He broke for me.

2. You are free from sin’s power

Romans 6:14 (NLT) — “Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.”

Summary: Grace doesn’t excuse sin — it empowers righteousness. You are free to live holy by His Spirit.

Declaration: Sin no longer has power over me; I live under the freedom of God’s grace.

3. You are free from fear

Romans 8:15 (NLT) — “So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.”

Summary: Fear is not your inheritance. God’s Spirit brings courage, love, and belonging.

Declaration: I am no longer a slave to fear; I am a beloved child of God.

4. You are free through truth

John 8:32 (NLT) — “And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Summary: Freedom begins with revelation. Knowing God’s truth shatters every lie that once bound you.

Declaration: God’s truth has set me free; I walk in liberty through His Word.

5. You are free to serve others

Galatians 5:13 (NLT) — “For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.”

Summary: Freedom isn’t selfish — it’s purposeful. You’re set free to lift others, not to indulge self.

Declaration: I use my freedom to love and serve others as Christ served me.

6. You are free from guilt and shame

Isaiah 61:7 (NLT) — “Instead of shame and dishonor, you will enjoy a double share of honor… everlasting joy will be yours.”

Summary: Guilt and shame are replaced by joy and honor in Christ. You are not defined by your past, but by His promise.

Declaration: Shame no longer defines me; I live in honor and joy through Christ’s redemption.
