Section 4 – Empowered & Equipped

 

The Holy Spirit doesn’t just live in you — He empowers you. You are strengthened, equipped, and authorized to live boldly, serve faithfully, and overcome every battle through His power at work within you.

 

1. You are filled with the power of the Holy Spirit

Acts 1:8 (NLT) — “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere…”

Summary: God’s Spirit gives you supernatural boldness and strength to live as His witness wherever you go.

Declaration: I am filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to reveal Jesus to the world.

 

2. You are strong in the Lord

Ephesians 6:10 (NLT) — “A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

Summary: Your strength doesn’t come from self-effort but from divine might. You are sustained by His power, not your own.

Declaration: I am strong in the Lord and clothed in His mighty power.

 

3. You are equipped for every good work

2 Timothy 3:17 (NLT) — “God uses it [Scripture] to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.”

Summary: God’s Word is your training ground. Through it, you gain everything needed to fulfill your calling.

Declaration: I am equipped by God’s Word for every assignment He gives me.

 

4. You are strengthened with divine power

Colossians 1:11 (NLT) — “We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need.”

Summary: God supplies the strength to endure, persevere, and remain steadfast no matter the circumstance.

Declaration: I am strengthened by God’s glorious power to endure and overcome.

 

5. You are given spiritual gifts

1 Corinthians 12:7 (NLT) — “A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.”

Summary: Every believer is gifted. Your spiritual gifts are not random—they’re tools of divine purpose to serve and build others up.

Declaration: I am gifted by God to serve, strengthen, and encourage His people.

 

6. You are anointed for purpose

2 Corinthians 1:21–22 (NLT) — “It is God who enables us, along with you, to stand firm for Christ. He has commissioned us, and he has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts.”

Summary: You are anointed, appointed, and sealed with the Holy Spirit—God’s mark of calling and authority rests on you.

Declaration: I am anointed and commissioned by God; His Spirit empowers my every step.

 

7. You are more than a conqueror

Romans 8:37 (NLT) — “No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”

Summary: You don’t just survive battles—you triumph through them. Christ’s victory becomes your inheritance.

Declaration: I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me.

 

8. You have authority over the enemy

Luke 10:19 (NLT) — “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy… Nothing will injure you.”

Summary: Spiritual authority is your inheritance as a believer. You walk in victory, not fear.

Declaration: I walk in divine authority; the enemy has no power over me.

 

9. You are empowered to do greater works

John 14:12 (NLT) — “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.”

Summary: Jesus promised not limitation, but expansion. Through His Spirit, you continue His mission on earth.

Declaration: I am empowered to do greater works through the Spirit of Christ within me.

 

10. You are equipped with spiritual armor

Ephesians 6:11 (NLT) — “Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.”

Summary: You are never defenseless. God provides every piece of spiritual protection you need for victory.

Declaration: I am fully equipped with God’s armor and able to stand firm in every battle.

 

11. You are strengthened by grace

2 Timothy 2:1 (NLT) — “Timothy, my dear son, be strong through the grace that God gives you in Christ Jesus.”

Summary: Grace doesn’t just forgive—it empowers. God’s grace strengthens you to keep going and to walk faithfully.

Declaration: I am strengthened by the grace of Christ to endure and thrive.

 

12. You can do all things through Christ

Philippians 4:13 (NLT) — “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”

Summary: Jesus Himself is your source of ability. Through Him, nothing is impossible.

Declaration: I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

 

13. You are empowered by God’s Spirit, not human effort

Zechariah 4:6 (NLT) — “It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.”

Summary: Victory doesn’t depend on your human ability—it flows from divine empowerment.

Declaration: I am empowered by the Spirit of God; my strength comes from Him alone.
