July Week 1: Reflection
Welcome to our first Monday Reflection!
Each Monday, I'll share the verse that impacted me most during the week, along with a few thoughts from my time in Scripture. My prayer is that these reflections encourage you as you continue growing deeper in God's Word.
So now, on to the reflection. I'm so glad you're joining me as we journey through our July Scripture Writing theme, Rooted in Christ. This first week, we focused on Identity in Christ, taking time each day to write and reflect on what God's Word says about who we are in Him.
The verses we explored this week were:
• Ephesians 2:10
• 2 Corinthians 5:17
• Romans 8:15
As I spent time with these passages, Romans 8:15 continued to stand out to me. It reminded me that our identity doesn't begin with what we do—it begins with whose we are. Through Christ, we have been adopted into God's family, and we have the incredible privilege of calling Him, "Abba, Father."
That verse also reminded me of three words that have become very meaningful to me: Chosen. Known. Loved. We have been chosen into God's family, we are fully known by our Father, and we are deeply loved by Him. What an incredible foundation to begin our journey of being rooted in Christ.
Now it’s your turn. Which verse from this week's readings stood out to you the most, and why?
See you next week!
