Which One Are You?

“And those who have turned back from following the Lord, And those who have not sought the Lord [as their most important need] or inquired of Him.” ¶[Hush!] Be silent before the Lord God [there is no acceptable excuse to offer]! For the day [of the vengeance] of the Lord is near, For the Lord has prepared a sacrifice (Judah), He has set apart [for His use] those who have accepted His invitation [the Chaldeans who rule Babylon]. [Hab 2:20]” - Zephaniah‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“”It will come about at that time That I will search Jerusalem with lamps And I will punish the men Who [like old wine] are stagnant in spirit, Who say in their hearts, ‘The Lord will not do good, nor will He do evil.’” - Zephaniah‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭AMP‬‬

Let that sink in for a minute. His Word is true. His Word will not prove or return to Him void of truth.

Which one are you? The one who is stagnant in Spirit who doesn’t believe that He is a God of His Word? Or the one who has prepared a sacrifice for Him that He has set apart for His use? Which one are you?

The backslider? The one who turned his back on the Lord and not sought after Him as his greatest need? Or the one who has His invitation?

Which one are you? The time is coming. It’s coming soon. “There is no acceptable excuse.” His Words, not mine…
