Section 6 – Purposeful & Fruitful
You were created on purpose and for a purpose. In Christ, your life bears eternal fruit. Every act of obedience, every seed of faith, and every word spoken in love fulfills part of God’s plan through you.
1. You are created for good works
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT) — “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”
Summary: God designed you with destiny in mind. You are a masterpiece created to bring good into the world.
Declaration: I am God’s masterpiece, created to fulfill His purpose and walk in good works.
2. You are chosen to bear lasting fruit
John 15:16 (NLT) — “You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for using my name.”
Summary: Your life was chosen to be fruitful. Every act of faithfulness plants seeds that carry eternal impact.
Declaration: I am chosen and appointed to bear lasting fruit for God’s glory.
3. You are a light to the world
Matthew 5:14–16 (NLT) — “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden… let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”
Summary: God placed His light in you to illuminate the darkness. Your visible goodness points others to Him.
Declaration: I am a light in this world, shining so others may see Christ in me.
4. You are called to purpose
Romans 8:28 (NLT) — “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
Summary: Nothing in your story is wasted. God works every detail toward His greater plan and purpose.
Declaration: I am called according to God’s purpose; everything in my life serves His good plan.
5. You are a vessel of honor
2 Timothy 2:21 (NLT) — “If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.”
Summary: Purity positions you for purpose. God refines you so you can carry His presence with integrity.
Declaration: I am a vessel of honor, cleansed and prepared for God’s use.
6. You are God’s co-laborer
1 Corinthians 3:9 (NLT) — “For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field; you are God’s building.”
Summary: You don’t work for God—you work with Him. You’re part of His divine process of building His Kingdom.
Declaration: I am a co-laborer with God; my work partners with His eternal plan.
7. You are appointed to influence
Matthew 28:19–20 (NLT) — “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations… Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.”
Summary: Your purpose includes influence. You were called to reflect Christ’s truth and help others grow in faith.
Declaration: I am commissioned to lead others to Jesus and teach His truth in love.
8. You are empowered to serve faithfully
1 Peter 4:10–11 (NLT) — “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another… Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies.”
Summary: Service is an act of worship. You are equipped with unique gifts that glorify God when you use them to serve others.
Declaration: I use my God-given gifts faithfully, serving with His strength and love.
9. You are a branch connected to the Vine
John 15:5 (NLT) — “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.”
Summary: Fruitfulness flows from connection. Staying close to Jesus ensures your life produces His kind of fruit.
Declaration: I am connected to Christ the Vine; His life flows through me and bears good fruit.
10. You are called to shine in every place
Philippians 2:15 (NLT) — “Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people.”
Summary: Your character is your witness. Living with purity and integrity makes you a beacon of hope in darkness.
Declaration: I shine brightly as a child of God, reflecting His truth and goodness in every place.
11. You are established for impact
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT) — “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord. ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.’”
Summary: God’s plans for you are intentional and filled with purpose. Hope anchors your destiny in His promises.
Declaration: God’s plans for me are good; my future is filled with hope and purpose.
12. You are fruitful in every season
Psalm 1:2–3 (NLT) — “They delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.”
Summary: When rooted in God’s Word, your life stays fruitful—even in droughts or difficult seasons.
Declaration: I am planted by living water; I bear fruit in every season through God’s Word.
13. You are equipped for your calling
Hebrews 13:21 (NLT) — “May he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.”
Summary: God equips what He calls. Everything you need for your assignment flows from His power working within you.
Declaration: I am equipped with everything needed to do God’s will and bring Him glory.
