Victory Over Darkness
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in humility, confessing my weakness. Your Word says, “The heart is deceitful above all things” (Jeremiah 17:9), and I admit that I cannot see clearly on my own. Lord, remove the scales from my eyes, as You did for Saul (Acts 9:18), that I may see truth and not be blinded by the lies of sin, the world, or the enemy.
Your Word declares, “The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers” (2 Corinthians 4:4), but I belong to Christ, and I refuse to remain in darkness. Shine the light of Your truth into every hidden place in me. Expose the lies I have believed, the sins I have justified, and the battles I have ignored.
Jesus, You said, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). Today, I choose honesty before You. Strip away denial, pride, and excuses. Let me see my powerlessness apart from You, and the unmanageability of my life without Your Spirit.
And now, in the authority of Jesus Christ, I take my stand against the enemy. Satan, I rebuke you in the mighty name of Jesus. You have no power over me, for you are under my feet (Luke 10:19), and I walk in the victory of my salvation. “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17), for I am “more than a conqueror through Him who loved me” (Romans 8:37). By the blood of the Lamb (Revelation 12:11), I pray a hedge of protection around me as I work this step.
I declare and decree that Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11), but will take root in me and bring forth spiritual fruit as evidence of my faith in You.
In Jesus’ mighty name, and through the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen.
