Prayer for Spiritual Growth

Lord,
I come before You now on my knees in reverence and surrender. You—the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the one true living God—are worthy of all praise. Father, I humbly ask that You hear and receive my prayer.

From Your unlimited resources, I ask that You would empower me with inner strength through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Dwell richly within my heart, Lord, and make Your home in me. May every breath, every thought, and every action bring honor to You all the days of my life.

Help me to comprehend, even in part, the vastness of Your love—a love that surpasses knowledge—so that I may love others as You have loved me. Show me how precious I am in Your sight, that I may walk in confidence as Your child, complete and lacking no good thing.

Your Word declares that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Teach me to see myself through Your eyes, that I would not fall into the traps of insecurity or comparison. Let my identity be firmly rooted in who You say I am, not in what the world says I should be.

By the mighty power that works within me, enable me to accomplish far more than I could ever ask or imagine—for Your glory, not my own. As I seek spiritual growth, I come boldly, trusting that You will lead me, teach me, and mature me in faith.

Help me to walk in a manner worthy of You—pleasing You in all things, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of Your truth. Jesus, let me imitate You in all my ways. You are perfect love, perfect obedience, perfect peace—and as Your follower, I long to reflect Your nature in every part of my life.

Thank You, Father, for saving me from sin and death, and for filling me with the spiritual power to overcome this world. I give You all the glory, honor, and praise.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
