Prayer for Being Used for His Purposes

Father,
You know how long I have struggled to let go of the things that do not belong in me—habits, desires, and thoughts that stand in the way of Your will. Today, I come with open hands and a surrendered heart. Empty me of everything that is not of You, that I may be filled completely with Your Spirit and shaped by Your truth.

Lord, purify me from the inside out. Refine my motives, renew my mind, and restore my heart until I overflow with the righteousness that comes only through relationship with You. I worship You, Jesus, and I thank You for Your sacrifice—thank You that You died so I might truly live, and live abundantly in the fullness of Your purpose.

When the weight of life presses in, help me to turn to You first. Keep me from the trap of self-reliance, for I am not strong enough, capable enough, or wise enough to guide the path You have chosen for me. You alone are my strength, my wisdom, and my way. Without You, I am nothing—but with You, I am made whole.

Holy Spirit, I welcome You now. Cleanse me of rebellion and pride, and reveal every hidden place where my will has opposed Yours. Sanctify me by Your truth. Purify me for holy service. Let my heart and life be set apart for the work of the Great Commission You’ve called me to.

Use me, Lord, to minister to a hurting and dying world. May I never forget that it is only by grace I have been saved, and it is by that same grace that others will be saved as well. Let compassion be my posture, humility my tone, and love my message.

Make me a vessel of mercy, a reflection of Your heart, and a living sacrifice—holy and pleasing in Your sight. Use me however You will.
All I am, and all I have, belongs to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
