Rooted Identity: A New Testament Deep Reading Plan

Theme: A 6-month New Testament journey that grounds believers in their identity in Christ. Each week includes a theme, focus, supplemental cross-references, and a practice step. Cadence: 5 days/week, ~2 chapters/day.

Week 1 – Rooted in Christ

Primary Reading: Colossians 1–2

Focus: Discover the supremacy of Christ and the foundation of our identity in Him.

Practice:

Write down three truths about your identity in Christ from Colossians 1–2. Declare them daily.

Week 2 – Living Worthy of the Lord

Primary Reading: Colossians 3–4

Focus: Learn what it means to put off the old self and put on the new in Christ.

Practice:

Choose one ‘old self’ habit to surrender this week, and one ‘new self’ action to practice.

Week 3 – Faith Expressed Through Love
