Journaling for Jesus: Introduction
Good morning! For those that do not know me, I am Michelle. I am a Christian woman who is married to Robert for 37 years. We are parents to 7 adult children and grandparents to 3 (2 of whom we are raising). I grew up in California but have lived in Las Vegas,NV for 35 years now. I haven't worked since I was a teen and now because of health reasons I can't. I gave my life to God as a teen but have actively been embracing our Lord for the last few years. I spend most of my day in my Bible when I am not taking care of my responsibilities. I suffer from bipolar, OCD, ADHD and God only knows what other things mentally so jouraling is important to me. And that is where Journaling for Jesus came to be...
Journaling for Jesus is a Christ-centered part of this ministry that creates space for women to reconnect with who they are in Christ—beyond roles, responsibilities, and expectations. Rooted in Philippians 4:13, this will encourage women to bring their full, honest selves before God through journaling.
Women are invited to slow down, reflect, and put their thoughts, dreams, fears, and joys on paper—processing life with God at the center. Through Scripture and intentional writing, we are seeking to strengthen faith, support emotional well-being, and remind each woman that her identity, strength, and worth are found in Christ alone.
This will be a space where women:
Show up as themselves
Not defined by titles like mom, wife, or caregiver—but as a daughter of God.Process their inner world with God
Writing honestly about thoughts, emotions, struggles, and hopes without pressure to “have it all together.”Connect mental and spiritual health
Using journaling as a tool to release burdens, reduce overwhelm, and invite God into every part of their lives.Align their thoughts with truth
Bringing raw feelings to God and gently anchoring them in Scripture.Grow in self-awareness and faith
Recognizing patterns, hearing God more clearly, and seeing how He is working over time.
I hope this is something you all will participate in and make this journaling part of your everyday time alone with yourself and God!
